S&B Tubing
"Life Floats Through Albany, WI and So Could You on your Tube, Canoe or Kayak."
Canoes and Kayaks are now allowed on the river.
S&B Tubing is located on 100 east main St. In Albany WI. We are located just 45 minutes from Madison and Janesville, 20 minutes from Monroe, New Glarus, and Monticello, and only 15 minutes from Brodhead. S&B Tubing is located on state highway 59, right on the beautiful sugar river.
How it works:
S&B Tubing is located right on the sugar river so your trip begins when you arrive. You float from our shop to a designated location about 4 miles down the river. When you arrive the S&B staff will be there to help you with your equipment and belongings, and direct you to the next available shuttle bus. Shuttle waiting times are usually 15 minutes or less.
We no longer provide shuttle rides for people bringing their own equipment.
Upon return S&B Tubing has plenty of snacks and treats including chips, ice cream treats, and energy drinks and bars. We also have t-shirts and coolies available for purchase.
S&B Tubing has been family owned and operated for 11 years. We are open 7 days a week form 10am to 5 pm. The last tube rentals leave at 4 pm weekdays and 4:30 on weekends. The last canoes and kayaks leave at 5:00 pm everyday. Our last shuttle bus leaves the landing at 8 pm so everyone must be back with their equipment by then.

See the News Story about S&B Tubing!
Canoe and kayak trips take about an hour and a half while tubing takes around 3 and a half hours. All all of these times are approximate and subject to change based on the depths of the river, S&B Tubing will be able to give a more accurate timeline for your trip upon your arrival.
The water levels do vary, but on average the water is fairly slow moving and easy going. As for the depth, for the most part if you fall out, you can stand up but it is a river and there are some deep spots. The water is safe for children of any age, but adult consent and signature is required for anyone under the age of 18.
There are a few rules when going on the river, as stated previously everyone must return with their equipment by 8:00 pm, or it will be assumed that they have arranged their own means of transportation. Also there is a wet foot rule established by the DNR in order to reduce the amount of trespassing occurring along the river.
All land along the river is private property. Also there is no glass allowed on the river, all coolers are subject to search by S&B staff.
Please come tube, canoe, or kayak with us along the beautiful sugar river. There is an abundance of wildlife along the way including bald eagles, deer, beavers, turtles, frogs, and lots of birds.
